"The advent of social software has brought a new culture of sharing, and this time around, people are willing to give up some of their knowledge..." (Tebbutt, 2007).
The JISC infokit on social software explores how tools such as blogs, wikis and bookmark sharing services, as well as social networks such as Facebook and file sharing sites, offer new opportunities for learning and teaching. The infokit includes guidance for institutional managers and those involved in business and community engagement activities, as well as learning and teaching staff.
