A series of five collaborative design sessions were carried out using Second Life. The sessions lasted one hour and involved a small number of students which consisted of two familiarisation sessions and some simple individual and shared design related tasks. From these sessions a few videos were taken along with a number of screen shots, examples of which are shown below.
Due to the importance of assisting students familiarisation process within Second Life a number of resources were used. These documents provided guides to aid students with the technology requirements, opening an account and navigating around Second Life. You can download any of these documents here:
