The Design Studio is a public resource so you do not need a log in to access the public resources.  

There are circumstances which require users to have access.  There are:

• Contributors to the Design Studio who contribute content and comment on resources (e.g. members of project teams within certain JISC programmes, editors, guest editors)
• Commenters i.e. those who wish to comment on resources but not add content
